Floods Cause 70% Infrastructure Damage in Eastern Libya

The Libyan National Unity Government has reported significant damage to infrastructure in the eastern region due to recent floods, with 70% of infrastructure affected. Roads, bridges, and underground water pipes have been particularly hard-hit, with 50% of roads damaged and 11 bridges destroyed. Additionally, 114 schools in 15 locations were affected by the flooding, as confirmed by the Ministry of National Education.
