Due to fog that has been reducing visibility distance since last night, the Dardanelles Strait in Türkiye has been closed to transit ships by around 03:30 a.m. By transmitter, officials from the Directorate General of Coastal Safety warned ship captains entering the strait from the north and south. It was stated that after the fog lost its effect, ship transit would return to normal.
