A fire broke out as a result of a lightning strike in a forest area on Thursday in the Göynük district of Bolu in Türkiye. The growing fire was brought under control after 45 hours with the support of the fire departments of the surrounding provinces. Units are now working on cooling the fire. No information has been given yet about how many hectares have been burned.
