The birthday of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn, known as the richest king in the world, was celebrated with ceremonies across the country yesterday. Meeting with the public at the Great Palace in the capital Bangkok in the morning, the king attended the religious and official ceremonies later. In his 71st birthday speech, he urged all Thais to use their wisdom and judgment correctly and to do what is not only for their own sake, but also for the benefit of others.
King Vajiralongkorn organized a large-scale aid campaign for low-income people across the country for his birthday.
