On the 63rd day of conflict between Gaza Strip and Israel, Muslims observed the 9th Friday prayer. Palestinians gathered at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem’s Old City for the prayers. Despite extensive security measures and restrictions by Israel, worshippers performed prayers in Masjid al-Aqsa and its vicinity.
Israeli forces, patrolling the streets of Jerusalem, intervened with tear gas bombs as Muslims sought entry into Masjid al-Aqsa.
