Photographs show the full moon rising over the historical Şalen Castle, which is located on the peak of the Amanos Mountains in Hatay’s Iskenderun district. The castle has stood since the Hellenistic period and is located in the highland part of the Amanos Mountains. It is mentioned in historical records that it was used by the Byzantines and the Crusaders.
The audience was enchanted by the full moon rising above the Turkish flag waving on the summit of the castle, which can be reached by footpath.
