A dentist in Gaza has reopened his damaged clinic following the ceasefire after Israel’s attacks on the territory. Abdelsalam Kaheel resumed treating patients in his bombed clinic in the Al-Shati refugee camp, despite severe damage and shortages, saying, “I cannot abandon my people. As doctors, it is our duty to alleviate suffering.” Kaheel described the clinic as a symbol of resistance and urged the international community to act, saying Gaza’s people “are suffering greatly, and the war has destroyed everything.”
