Germany floods hit Hagen, rises river water levels

In the city of Hagen, Germany, heavy rain caused widespread flooding. Basements, garages, and some businesses were inundated, and the water levels of the Volme and Nahmer Bach rivers rose. Firefighters took action by using sandbags to prevent further damage. Some areas located near the rivers were evacuated as a precautionary measure against the flood danger. The German Weather Service (DWD) also issued a warning, indicating that the heavy rain would continue.
