Greek Coast Guard Teams removed the engine of the rubber boat of the refugees who attempted to cross illegally from Türkiye’s Çanakkale to Greece’s Lesbos Island and left them to die. Twenty-four refugees, including 13 children, were found stranded in the middle of the sea and were rescued by the Turkish Coast Guard teams. After legal procedures, the group was delivered to the Foreigners Repatriation Center in Ayvacık district.
