Heavy Fog Causes Peak in Pneumonia Cases in Pakistan: 42 Children Died

Dense fog, which has been negatively affecting life in Pakistan’s Punjab province, has caused an increase in pneumonia cases. In the state where hundreds of children started to receive treatment for pneumonia, 42 children died due to pneumonia in the last 10 days. Authorities stated that 668 pneumonia cases were detected in the state yesterday and the general pneumonia cases increased to 7,700.
