The Cornia River overflowed after heavy rain in the Italian region of Tuscany, causing floods in the cities of Livorno and Siena, where vehicles were submerged in the floodwaters.
The Italian Fire Brigade reported that they rescued 30 people who were trapped.
Tuscany Regional Government President Eugenio Giani said that it rained more than it rains in a month in one hour in the commune of Campiglia Marittima, which is part of Livorno.
