Heavy winter rains flooded tents housing displaced Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, worsening the humanitarian crisis after months of Israeli attacks. Many tents in Gaza City’s Yarmouk camp were damaged, leaving families exposed to cold and rain.
Displaced residents said water soaked beds and blankets, forcing families to stay awake through the night. With about 92 percent of homes in Gaza damaged or destroyed, thousands are struggling to survive in unsafe tents and ruined buildings.
