Sekine Kerimova, a 77-year-old homeless woman in Baku, Azerbaijan, donated her pocket money to the Turkish disaster and emergency management organization, AFAD, to help the victims of the severe earthquakes in Türkiye.
“I felt very bad when I saw them, the children. I sent 50 manats in my pocket to help them,” says the generous woman.
