It was reported that many people were taken hostage in a pharmacy on Ettlinger Street in Karlsruhe, Germany. A large number of police were dispatched to the location, and the area around the pharmacy was cordoned off. Authorities urged the public to stay away from the street. The perpetrators, whom the police spoke to, demanded a ransom of 1 million euros for the hostages inside.
