Shortly after a hot air balloon took off yesterday in Teotihuacan, Mexico, the basket of the balloon caught fire caused the balloon to fall with the people inside. As a result of the incident, two panicking riders, a 50-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman lost their lives by jumping from the balloon; three others, including a 13-year-old girl, were injured.
Surviving the accident, the pilot of the balloon fled the scene. Security forces launched an operation.
