Illegal armed group founded by Iranian intelligence disclosed in Azerbaijan

The illegal armed group formed in Azerbaijan under the control of Iran’s special services was disclosed in a statement issued by the Azerbaijan State Security Service. According to reports, 19 people were referred to the investigation, and some were detained. A thorough investigation was conducted into the secret military training, financing, and referral of Azerbaijani citizens outside the country’s borders by Iranian special services, as well as their detention in the sphere of influence through blackmail and other violent methods to be used against the interests of Azerbaijan’s state security.
