Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. During the talks, Wang condemned recent U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran as “illegitimate” and called for an urgent, comprehensive ceasefire. He stressed that direct dialogue is now essential to stabilize the region during this critical turning point. In response, Araghchi praised Beijing’s firm support and vowed to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Tehran and China.
