The 44th anniversary of the occupation of the US Embassy in Tehran, which was called “the center of spying”, was celebrated with demonstrations held in front of the former US Embassy on Taleghani Street in the capital Tehran and in different cities of Iran. On this day, which is also named “Global Day of Fight against Imperialism”, Iranians also protested against Israel and the USA for the ongoing attacks on Palestinian regions. Holding Palestinian flags and banners in support of Palestine, the demonstrators chanted anti-US and anti-Israeli slogans and stated that the US was complicit in the genocide against Palestinians.
