Israeli forces once again targeted a United Nations (UN) school in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the center of the Gaza Strip yesterday. 14 Palestinians lost their lives and 70 Palestinians were injured in the school, where hundreds of displaced civilians took shelter.
Ninety people died and 300 others were injured in the attack carried out by the Israeli army in the Al Mevasi region of the Gaza Strip two days ago.
Egyptian media reports that ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, are set to resume next week. Israel is awaiting Hamas’s response to the ceasefire offer.
Israeli and US delegations, who were in Doha for negotiations, have returned home for consultations. The current agreement being discussed includes the exchange of hostages and prisoners, with plans for further talks on a permanent ceasefire and the release of additional hostages.
