The 4-day humanitarian pause brokered by Qatar between Israel and Hamas took effect today. During this break, activity surged on Saladin Street, a dividing line between the north and south of the Gaza Strip. Residents who had fled from the north to the south amid the Israeli attacks attempted to return northwards. Carrying their belongings, including clothes and blankets, Gazans encountered Israeli soldiers blocking their path back to the north. Israeli forces prevented Palestinians from re-entering their homes, instructing them to return southward.

Türkiye’s state energy company BOTAŞ signed major LNG agreements worth 8.7 billion cubic meters with global giants BP, ENI, and Shell during the Gastech 2025 summit in Milan.
The deals cover 2026–2028, with BP supplying 4.8 bcm, ENI 1.5 bcm, and Shell 2.4 bcm. Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said the agreements will boost supply security, diversify resources, and add flexibility during winter demand.
BOTAŞ also signed cooperation agreements with Oman LNG and PetroChina, furthering Türkiye’s ambition to become a regional gas hub.
