The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out artillery and air strike to under blockade Gaza Strip. It was reported that some points belonging to the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, were targeted in the attacks. According to statement released by The IDF, the attack was carried out in response to the firing of 2 rockets from Gaza to Israel. “Fighter jets and helicopters attacked a series of targets in a rocket production facility belonging to the Hamas. In addition, tanks attacked Hamas military positions on the Gaza Strip border. The scope of the targets and the type of targets were attacked in response to the rocket fire this morning, from the Gaza Strip to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Gush Dan,” the IDF said. It’s been stated that there isn’t any casualties reported in the attacks.
