One and a half million civilians who took shelter in Rafah, which Israel continues to bomb despite having declared it safe, are trying to hold on to life under difficult conditions. In addition to the fear that the attacks elicit, the Palestinians in the area are suffering from being deprived of many things, such as clean water, food, and blankets, which cannot be provided to them due to the attacks disrupting the delivery.

“We are suffering from a shortage of clean water, and blankets are not enough. Tents are not suitable for living because they drip rainwater. I’m so cold,” Akram Hamdouna said.

According to the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund, there are 600,000 children trying to survive the camp’s harsh conditions.

Arab Tribes Mobilize as Clashes Erupt Again in Syria’s Sweida

0

Clashes between Druze armed groups and Bedouins have reignited in Sweida, southern Syria, prompting Arab tribes from various regions to head toward the area in support of the Bedouins.

Fighting intensified last night following a Druze assault, with convoys of tribesmen advancing in vehicles. Local sources report ongoing clashes west of the city.

The Syrian Interior Ministry stated that government forces have not deployed to Sweida and remain on standard alert. However, an unnamed Israeli official said Israel has agreed to allow limited Syrian government access to the area for 48 hours due to instability.

Despite efforts by Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara to reduce tensions, the violence has escalated, with hundreds reportedly killed.
