Following the approval of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a night raid was carried out on the Shifa Hospital in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip with drones and tanks. In addition to destroying the hospital, the Israeli forces opened fire on the Palestinians taking shelter inside, leaving many dead or injured. Israeli media reported that 80 Palestinians were arrested as well.

Stating that the attack was a war crime, the Media Office in Gaza once again called on the international community to urgently intervene to prevent the occupation and stop the war of destruction.
