Israel Recovers Body Of Last Hostage From Gaza

The Israeli military announced it has recovered the body of Ran Gvili, the last Israeli hostage in the Gaza Strip. The 24-year-old police officer’s remains were found in a cemetery east of Gaza City, identified through forensic procedures, and are being transferred to Israel for burial. Gvili was the final hostage not returned under the ceasefire agreement, meaning all hostages have now been handed over. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “We promised to bring everyone back, and we brought everyone back,” calling Gvili “a hero of Israel.”
