Since May 27, Israeli attacks on aid distribution points in Gaza have killed 102 people and injured 490, according to the Gaza Government Media Office. In the latest strike near an aid center in Rafah, 27 were killed and over 90 injured.
Officials accused Israel and the US of turning aid centers into “mass killing traps,” calling the operations war crimes. They demanded the United Nations and neutral bodies take over aid distribution and called for an independent investigation.
The overall death toll in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 54,510, with 124,901 wounded.
