In the city of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces targeted a vehicle in an air attack today, claiming the lives of two journalists. Among the deceased was Hamza Dahdouh, a photojournalist and the son of Al Jazeera’s Gaza Bureau Chief Wael Dahdouh. This tragic loss compounds the family’s earlier suffering, having lost multiple members in previous Israeli attacks. The other journalist identified in the attack was Mustafa Thuraya.

Following the incident, Wael Dahdouh expressed profound grief, stating, “Today, I bid farewell, just like these countless others. May Allah grant us strength, solace, and endurance. May He empower us to persist in honor of Hamza and all the martyrs.”
