The M1 spacecraft, which Japanese company iSpace aimed to send to the Moon within the framework of the HAKUTO-R mission, was launched with SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket. The rocket took off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 4:38 p.m. Japan time.

The M1 spacecraft, which will drop two robotic rovers and the 4-wheeled Rashid reconnaissance vehicle developed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the lunar surface, will leave the Falcon 9 rocket approximately 47 minutes after takeoff and begin its journey to the Moon.

The spacecraft is expected to land on the Moon’s surface at the end of April next year.

EU Warns Israel with Threats of Action Over Gaza Aid

0

Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, issued a stern warning to Israel, stating that “all options are on the table” if Israel fails to uphold its commitment to providing humanitarian aid to Gaza. Kallas condemned the killing of civilians seeking aid, calling it “indefensible,” and urged Israel to stop the violence at aid distribution points.

In her recent meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, Kallas reiterated the EU’s concerns, emphasizing that the Israeli army must cease attacks on civilians. Despite an agreement in July to increase aid access to Gaza, over 20 Western nations have condemned Israel’s ongoing military actions, which have led to the deaths of over 800 civilians seeking humanitarian assistance.
