The people of Kahramanmaraş, a Turkish city that was devastated by two major earthquakes on February 6, 2023, took to the streets to enjoy the snow after the heavy snowfall. Playing snowballs and sledding with their families and friends, the locals enjoyed the winter to the fullest.
“I make sleighs and sometimes enjoy the snow myself. These can even save lives. You can rescue sick and stranded people down from where they are,” said Mustafa Uludağ, a sleigh maker.
