Gümüşhane’s Karaca cave, which is one of the few dripstone caves in Türkiye and fascinates its visitors with its stalactites, stalagmites and abundant oxygen, was flooded with visitors with the start of the 9-day Ramadan holiday.
The cave is in high demand, especially among asthma patients, as it allows halotherapy, also called salt therapy, which is one of the alternative treatment methods used in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
“I have shortness of breath and I relax. My breathing and exhalation changes here. I invite everyone who suffers from asthma like me to come here,” said a visitor.
