Kilauea Volcano Reactivates with New Eruption in Hawaii

A new eruption has taken place in Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes situated in the Hawaiian archipelago of the United States. Kilauea Volcano, located in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the southern part of the Big Island within the Hawaiian archipelago, has become active once again. According to a statement released by the US Geological Research Center (USGS), the eruption occurred at approximately 04:40 local time, with the lava flow currently confined to the volcano’s crater. Following the reactivation of Kilauea, which was previously active in January, the alert level has been raised from orange to red.

In 2019, Kilauea experienced a series of earthquakes and significant explosions, resulting in the destruction of numerous homes and businesses.
