Women in Konya, Türkiye, united to denounce Israel’s assaults on Palestine. Gathering at Mevlana Square post Friday prayers, they held enshrouded dolls, chanting “Shrouded Resistance for Gaza” in protest. Symbolizing hope amidst suffering, each shroud represented resistance, every doll a plea for freedom. Amidst banners, women rallied, holding representative baby shrouds. Erengül Karabağ spoke on behalf of Konya’s women, launching the action. Finally, they placed the symbolic baby shrouds in the square, voicing their solidarity.
