Despite the withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine’s Kyiv and its surroundings, the people continue to act cautiously against the possibility of a new attack. Despite the absence of a curfew in the Kyiv region, the streets were still empty.
Ukrainian former soldier Vladimir Botishev stated that the Ukrainian army is fighting very well and said, “I think Russia is an aggressive state. Russian aggression will come to an end and the government will change in Russia. Maybe there will be democracy there after a while. The Ukrainians are ready to give their lives for their country. They will never take Kyiv and this will be the rebirth of Ukraine. As a former soldier, I can say that the technical means and soldiers in the hands of Russia will not be enough. Because our army is fighting well. There will be technical losses and this will be Russia’s biggest mistake,” he said.
