Lake Çıldır, the second largest lake in Eastern Anatolia, has become a perfect environment to see during the winter holiday after its surface is completely covered with ice. Being chosen for its famous horse sleigh rides, the lake is now being benefited as a rink as well.

“My biggest dream was to learn ice skating and ice skate here. I have been coming and skating every time the lake freezes for the last five years. This is a place where you feel very natural and very free. I don’t want to go to ice rinks anymore,” said Bahar Gürsoy, a visitor living in Istanbul.
