Life returns to normal in Ukrainian city of Chernihiv

Life started to return to normal in Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, one of the cities in the country that one of the most affected by the Russian attacks. Public transportation lines that haven’t been operating since the beginning of the war in the city were reopened. In Chernihiv, markets, restaurants and cafes have also started to serve. In addition to that, the “Vyshyvanka Day” celebrations were also held in the city center.

Marina Vladimirovna, who participated in the celebrations, said that now they live a quiet life. “Today is Vyshyvanka Day. We have a holiday, but we don’t have such an opportunity because of the war. But I hope there will be peace soon and everything will be fine. Victory will belong to Ukraine,” Vladimirovna said.

“Life is slowly getting better in Chernihiv. I was very worried for my family during the war and about 10 days later I started walking under fire as the attacks continued. I am no longer afraid as before, I am used to the situation we are in,” Anna Kalashnik said.
