A severe fire broke out on the fourth floor of a 6-story shopping mall in Karachi, Pakistan. The flames quickly engulfed the floor where 60 people were shopping, causing the deaths of 11 people. Fire crews arrived at the scene in a short time and managed to evacuate 35 people from the building.
Authorities said the deaths were due to gas poisoning and burns, and that the fire may have started on a generator.
