A suspect with mental illness who was receiving treatment at facility and managed to capture a police patrol car caused chaos in Riza province, Manila, Philippines this noon. Speeding with the official vehicle, the man crashed the car into a roadside post and rammed into pedestrians, killing 3 and injuring 5, including an officer.
Due to his mental condition, it was not clear if the suspect will be charged.
Over 120 aid trucks from the UN and humanitarian groups entered Gaza on the first day of Israel’s partial halt in attacks, according to Israel’s COGAT. Another 180 trucks await UN distribution, while hundreds more are queued.
