Hamdi Çakıroğlu, a 55-year-old sailor and surfer living in Muğla’s Marmaris district in Turkey, came across a school of Manta Rays, known to live in the ocean, on a boat ride with his son Necati Çakıroğlu. The father and son, who recorded those moments with the camera of their mobile phone, stated that they had never encountered such a sea creature before. Çakıroğlu said, “We have never seen them singly or in a flock before. I didn’t know these fish lived here before, I saw them for the first time.”
