In the conflict Russia and Ukraine, the Ukrainian cities of Irpin, Gostomel and Bucha were cleared from the Russian army. After cleared from Russians, the Ukrainian army encountered multiple numbers of lifeless bodies of civilians in the streets of Bucha city of Ukraine’s Kyiv Oblast. In the video images of Bucha, it was seen that in the streets some civilians were executed with their hands tied behind their backs, others were targeted by attacks while trying to go somewhere with their bicycles. While some of the decomposing corpses that couldn’t be removed from the streets since the beginning of the war were found to be covered, it was seen that the dead bodies of some civilians were trapped in their vehicles. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian forces are trying to collect the lifeless bodies of the people who lost their lives by walking from street to street.
On the other hand on Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky released a statement on his social media account about the tragic encounter. “Russia came to Bucha. I advise the mothers of Russian soldiers to watch these video images. Watch and see how you raise thieves and murderers,” Zelensky said.
