EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell attended the conference of the EU Foreign Affairs Office titled “Beyond Disinformation: EU Responses to the Threat of Foreign Information Manipulation”.

In his speech, Borrell noted that the 7.7 and 7.6 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, which hit 10 provinces in Türkiye and Syria, demolished thousands of houses. He emphasized that thousands of people died in Turkey and Syria and said “It’s a natural disaster like we have not seen in more than a decade.” After Borrell’s call, a minute’s silence was held for the earthquake victims.
