In Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where about 12 percent of the population is Muslim, believers gathered at the mosque of the Islamic Center of Thailand to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer. Although the mosque has a capacity of three thousand, many people had to pray outside because there was no place left. Muslims from different countries also attended the Eid prayer.
