Nepal recovers black box from the crashed passenger aircraft

On Sunday, a Yeti Airlines plane carrying 72 passengers crashed into a river gorge in the tourist city of Pokhara, Nepal, killing at least 68 people. Search and rescue officials have recovered the black box from the passenger aircraft that crash landed. Kathmandu Airport official Teknath Sitaula said the black boxes appeared to be in good condition and undamaged. Officials believe the aircraft’s black box, which contains cockpit records and flight data, may aid in locating the four missing people and identifying the crash victims.

While the search operation continues, the identities of omly 26 of the Yeti Airline plane crash victims had been revealed.
