Nine suspects in the August 30 sinking of the Filo Jet ferry off Girne, which killed 28 people, have been ordered to remain in custody for another seven days. At their 11th court appearance, officials said 59 days of navigation data recorder footage had been examined, with nine days still to be reviewed. The suspects include company officials, captains, engineers and crew members facing charges of causing death through negligence. Relatives of the victims gathered outside the court, renewing their calls for justice.
