North Korea shared photos of the small drones that were determined to have been sent by South Korea to distribute propaganda leaflets in the Hyongjesan area near Pyongyang on October 13.
North Korea stated that if its sovereignty was violated again, it would be considered a “declaration of war” and that “immediate retaliatory attacks would be carried out.” However, the South Korean Ministry of Defense initially denied the claim and later stated that anti-North Korean civil society organizations may be responsible for the incident.
