The oil tank in the Turkish port of Samsun blew up. The tank caught fire after the explosion, and black smoke filled the sky. The teams from the Samsun Fire Brigade Department, which is situated close to the port, responded to the fire quickly. Before it spread to other tanks, fire crews put out the burning tank.
The waste oil tank between the rows of tanks exploded due to heating, according to local sources. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
