Freezing temperatures in the Gaza Strip have killed a one-year-old child in the past 24 hours, raising the number of children who have died from extreme cold this winter to seven, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said. The ministry also reported three additional deaths from building collapses after heavy rain, bringing the collapse-related toll to 24. Despite a ceasefire, Israeli attacks reportedly killed five people and injured six more in the last day, officials added.
