Ottoman-era bath reopens in Istanbul after 12 years

The Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Hamamı (Turkish bath), which was built in 1546 to generate income for the Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Madrasa and tomb in Istanbul, was reopened 12 years later. The historical bath, which has been under restoration during this period of time, was built by the famous Ottoman Architect Sinan by the order of Chief Admiral Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha. The historical bath is known as the first and largest bath built by  Sinan.
