More than 300,000 Palestinians displaced by Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip have returned to their homes in the north following a ceasefire agreement. According to Gaza’s Media Office, people traveled from southern and central Gaza via Rashid and Salahuddin Streets to reach Gaza City and nearby areas.
Om Muhammed, one of the returnees, expressed joy: “I am happy we are returning home; it means the world to me.” Safaa Ahmed shared, “After 15 months apart, I will finally see my family.” Others described the return as bittersweet, balancing happiness with the grief of losing loved ones during the conflict.
