Palestinians Celebrate Ceasefire in Gaza’s Khan Younis

Palestinians in Khan Younis took to the streets to celebrate after Israel and Hamas approved the first phase of a US-brokered ceasefire agreement reached through indirect talks in Egypt. Crowds cheered, waved flags, and carried an Al-Ghad TV reporter on their shoulders after he announced the news live outside Nasser Hospital. As celebrations continued, attention turned to when food and medical aid would begin flowing into the Gaza Strip, where famine and shortages have gripped the population under Israel’s blockade.
