The paramotorists from Turkey’s Izmir city, have flied to give support to the 14-month-old Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) patient “Ela”, who is the daughter of Hüseyin and Ece Beyazgül living in Amasya. The paramotorists from the Izmir Volunteer Group, performed a demonstration flight to give hope to Ela. 4 paramotor pilots have participated in the demonstration flight on the Bayraklı coast in Izmir. One of the pilots, Metin Pehlivan, completed his flight with a poster written “I’m with you, Ela”.
“This is the second flight of paramotorists in İzmir for a child with SMA. I hope we can make Ela’s voice heard by more people,” Ela’s aunt Sevda Kavalcı said, while she is expressing that they are very sad but happy because of this event. Ece Beyazgül, mother of Ela baby, also thanked everyone who organized the event with a video call.
