A passenger train crashed into a crane stuck on the level crossing in Nakhon Sawan province at 19.30 local time on Friday. The driver of the train, who was stuck in the cabin, died at the scene, and 1 train attendant and 4 passengers were injured. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
Eyewitnesses said the crane driver attempted to cross to the other side shortly before the train arrived.
